The Glottertal

The Glottertal is located between the Black Forest and Rhine valley and one of the beautiful areas in the Black Forest.

The region has numerous options of places of excursions and it is a perfect starting point for your tours within the Black Forest, to France or Switzerland. Furthermore the area offers a net of hiking trails of more than 100km for every liking: from a slight walk to a more demanding hike, anything is possible. You can discover the area either on your own or as guided tour.

On the nature theme trails of „wine“, „nature“ and „forest“ you may not only train your body but also your mind.

Moreover you still find an ethnic tradition here as well: Glottertal has been mentioned in the documents for the first time more than 900 years ago. Nowadays the former tradition perfectly combines with the modern spirit: Traditional handcraft and ethnic customs – and that all while you can enjoy the amenities of the modern life, as e.g. a good junction to the road-rail network and excellent connection with public transport.
